Old World Beef & Mushroom Goulash: (3-4 quart crockpot or stovetop): If frozen, thaw in fridge. Crockpot: Empty bag into crockpot. FULL orders add 2 c. water (SPLIT add only 1 c. water). Cover & cook on Low approx. 8 hours. 30 min. before serving, turn to HIGH and quickly stir in egg noodles. Replace lid & cook 30 min. Stovetop: Empty bag into a pot. Add 3 c. water (Split Orders add 1 ½ c water). Bring to a boil. Reduce heat & simmer, covered, approx. 2 hours, or until beef is tender. Stir in egg noodles for last 20 min. of cooking time. Both: If desired, top with a little sour cream or chopped green onion.
