Our vegetarian version of Tortellini with Turkey Sausage, Mushrooms and Red Peppers. No sausage, double tortellini! (stovetop)

Ingredients

Garlic, Tomato Juice, Cheese Tortellini, Diced Tomato, Black Pepper, Oregano, Crushed Red Pepper, Red Pepper, Mushroom, Marinara Sauce, Basil

Instruction

(stovetop): Thaw completely in refrigerator. In a large pot, cook tortellini in boiling water for 3-5 min. OR until tender. Drain and set aside. In another pot, bring sauce to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat and simmer gently, stirring occasionally, approx. 8 min. Gently stir sauce and cooked tortellini together and let simmer 5 more min. Serve in individual bowls, with a sprinkle of freshly-ground black pepper or shredded Reggiano Cheese. Suggested Sides: A glass of Red, a small side salad, and a warm loaf of Italian bread.
