Veg Tomato Basil Chick’n Saute


A quick-cooking and delicious meal featuring vegetarian chick’n breasts sautéed, then simmered in a flavourful sauce of tomatoes, fresh basil, and a dash of cream. On the table in 15 minutes! (stovetop)

15 Minutes Stovetop Calories

(stovetop): IF frozen, thaw in fridge. In a frypan, heat a little oil or butter over medium heat. Brown chick’n, approx. 5 min/side then remove to a platter & tent with foil. Pour sauce into frypan. Reduce heat & simmer approx. 2 min, OR until most of the liquid has evaporated, stirring to scrape up any brown bits. Stir in cream/basil, & heat through. Spoon sauce over chick’n and serve. Suggested Sides: Our Creamy Peas & Orzo.

Plant-based chick’n breasts, diced tomatoes, *vegetable broth, white wine (optional), garlic, cream, IQF basil, thyme, rosemary, oregano, pepper. *Vegetable broth is now gluten-free.
