(stovetop or crockpot): In a large saucepan, add contents with 2 litres of cold water. Bring to a boil over high heat, reduce to the medium heat and simmer for 45-65 minutes. Adjust water and salt if needed. Enjoy! For a Slow Cooker, it will take 6 hours on low.
