Pan-Seared Filet Mignon with Herbed Garlic Butter

Juicy, 5-ounce, AAA goodness! (stovetop)

(stovetop): Allow steak to sit at room temp. approx. 30 min. Lightly sprinkle both sides of steak, with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet or frypan over medium-high heat. Add a little canola oil. Cook steaks 3-4 min/side OR to desired doneness (3 min. is rare). Top each filet with a dollop of herbed garlic butter. Tent with foil and let rest while butter melts.
