SupperWorks Meals for an Instant Pot
As September approaches and we welcome the cooler weather, many people will be turning to their slow cooker for meals. If you’re a SupperWorks customer, you know that our menus will be filled in the coming months with recipes specifically for slow cookers, but many people have also been asking for main dishes that work with their Instant Pot.
We’re happy to tell you that most of our slow cooker dishes
can be easily used with your Instant Pot!
What is an Instant Pot
For those unfamiliar with this time-saving device, an Instant Pot is an electric pressure cooker that speeds up cooking times while saving energy. We’ve tested it with some of our frozen meals and the results have been amazing.
What to Keep in Mind when Using an Instant Pot with SupperWorks Recipes
First and foremost, please make sure to read the owner’s manual that came with your Instant Pot and follow all safety guidelines. Generally, you can only fill an Instant Pot ⅔ full, as it requires room at the top for steam. In our trials, a 6-quart Instant Pot fits a full-sized SupperWorks meal perfectly.
With an Instant Pot, you can cook any SupperWorks main dish meant for the slow cooker from frozen. Just remember that cooking times will speed up, so the original cooking-instruction will not apply. It’s also worth mentioning that milk and cream should not be added to an Instant Pot as it can scald.
If you have any questions about adjusting a SupperWorks slow cooker recipe for your Instant Pot, don’t hesitate to ask one of our friendly staff during your session. They’ll be happy to provide you with instructions and tips!

“I’ve been to SupperWorks several times. There’s always a variety of meal options that satisfy even young picky eaters and it changes monthly. You notice how fresh everything is when you go into prep a meal (you have the choice of putting it together yourself, they prepare or you grab something they have in stock from the freezer). I’m always impressed with how the food seems to be cut and portioned before you get there. The owner & staff really take care of you, not standing over you but making sure you have support if there’s a question on any part of the process. The meals are great to have on hand for those nights where there’s no time to make anything or if you just don’t feel like putting in the effort. Highly recommend trying out this place if you haven’t already done so!” M.T.
